USPA NEWS - The European Pioneering Stage of the Intercontinental Longines Masters Paris ““ Hong Kong ““ New York Series has opened its doors once again, at Parc Des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte, parallel to the Salon du Cheval. Those who turned out for the First Day were able to feast their Eyes on the 6* Track that will be hosting, until Sunday, the World's best Riders, along with the Prestige Village, the Place where Excellence and Lifestyle truly become one....

Those who turned out for the First Day were able to feast their Eyes on the 6* Track that will be hosting, until Sunday, the World's best Riders, along with the Prestige Village, the Place where Excellence and Lifestyle truly become one.
About THE RIDERS MASTER CUP : It was in the setting of the Longines Masters in Paris and during the long-awaited opening night that the draw took place, in the presence of team leaders Philippe Guerdat and Robert Ridland, Pierre Durand, Olympic champion and Ambassador of this new competition created to create the legend, Christophe Ameeuw, CEO of EEM and Founder of the Longines Masters series Paris - Hong Kong - New York and Hanfried Haring, President of the EEF.
As a reminder, the Riders Masters Cup opposes two Teams composed of five of the best Riders and Horses American and European, on a Competition in Two Runs drawn by the Chief of Track of the last European Championship, Louis Konickx. For this First, which will undoubtedly combine Performance, Show and Strategy, the composition of Teams is entrusted to Two Characters familiar with the Exercise: Robert Ridland for the United States and Philippe Guerdat for Europe. The Outcome will be known at the End of the Second Meeting, that of Revenge that will take place in New York on April 28, 2018.

For this Second Day of Longines Masters of Paris, after the Outstanding Displays offered by the Riders participating in the Masters One, Two and Three, the much-awaited Longines Speed Challenge, World Speed Championship, ultimately won by Julien Epaillard, had Audiences gasping throughout.

On The Third Day : The Intensity has been rising with Every Second, and most notably with the Launch of Two Spectacular New Events : the Masters Power, presented by the Lido de Paris, a Stunning Competition of Sheer Power that had the Audience in Raptures, while the much-awaited Riders Masters Cup, presented by EEM, with the support of the EEF (European Equestrian Federation) and Longines, as Founding Partner had the Crowds on their Feet, for what was the first-ever Battle between Europe and the United States, the World's Two Key Powers in Show Jumping.

A Grand Finale For The Longines Grand Prix : Concluding an Intense Competition Day, the Longines Grand Prix delighted the Public that saw the Amazing Victory of the Deutsch Daniel Deusser. Season III promises to continue with even Greater Sensations, with the Asian Stage, in Hong-Kong, set to take place from February 9-11 2018, followed by the American Stage in New York, which will also feature the Riders Masters Cup Rematch, from April 26-29, 2018.

No fewer than 25 Nations, 150 Riders and 350 Horses met at the Longines Masters of Paris, in parallel with the Salon du Cheval de Paris, in front of 52 000 Spectators for a 9th Edition devoted to Excellence, Sharing and Innovation.

* Victory of Marc Dilasser, French Pro Elite 2016 Champion, who reached New Heights in the New Masters Power Lido de Paris peaking at 2 Meters High. Big Novelty of the Longines Masters, this Puissance “6 bar“ class was transformed into a True "Show"
* We saw the Best European Riders face off the Best Americans in Unprecedented Duels and conquered the Hearts of the Public in Paris and in the Whole World (The Return Match will be held on American Soil on Saturday 28th of April during the Longines Masters of New York)

* The Longines Grand Prix of Paris, European Grand Slam of the Series, that displayed a Track of the Highest Level with Maximum Heights of 1m60. Finally, it was the German Rider Daniel Deusser on his Horse of a Lifetime Cornet d´Amour that took top Honours. This Victory now puts him in Contention for the Exceptional Super Grand Slam (a Bonus of 2 250 000 Euros awarded to the Rider who manages to win the Longines Grand Prix of Paris, Hong Kong and New York in that order.
* Victories : Emanuele Gaudiano in the Masters One Laiterie de Montaigu, Leopold van Asten in the Masters One Salon du Cheval de Paris/Ceneca. In the Masters Two, the young Canadian Talent Kara Chad who won the prestigious Land Rover Grand Prix. In the Masters Three, Susana Epaillard won the SFAM Société Française d´Assurance Grand Prix, Nikolaos Katsos won the Masters Three Hyatt Grand Prix....
- An edition devoted to SOLIDARITY

Throughout Season III, EEM and Longines come together to support Autism on Three Continents. The support to the Association "Sur Les Bancs de l´Ecole" in Paris was marked by the Exceptional Participation of Ambassadors and Sport Personalities who surpassed themselves for the Cause. Salim Ejnaini, a Blind Rider, took up the Challenge to jump a Fence at the Height of 1m40 in the Masters Power Lido de Paris. A Big Emotion shared with Guillaume Canet, his Sport Patron with Unfailing Support. Elephanz, French pop-rock Duo, also performed in front of the Crowd in favour of the Cause. A Solidarity Cheque of 25 000€ was presented to Jean-René Buisson, President of the Association, by Longines alongside EEM and Ambassadors.
